Bring aromatherapy into your life

Even for those of us who do not have a strong sense of smell, it is undeniable that scents can awaken a world of sensations, from the intense pleasure of a fragrance full of promise to the nostalgic perfume of a happy bygone era. It was the Egyptians who were the first to use essential oils, and the considerable knowledge that they acquired back then is now the basis for modern aromatherapy.

Smells good and feels great

Aromatherapy allows you to incorporate leisure into your bathing ritual. Your daily bath becomes a unique moment of relaxation when the pleasure of fully enjoying your bath is combined with intoxicating scents. The stimulating effect of these oils can both activate your energy resources invigorating your body, or relax and soothe tensions and ailments. Children can also benefit from aromatherapy, since using camomile essence in the bath before bedtime relaxes the body and induces deeper sleep.

Bath salts from the other side of the world

In order to fully complete the bathing experience, Neptune is happy to introduce its own line of bath salts, Kaifu and Shinkai, that are made from water drawn from a depth of 300 meters in the Bay of Toyama in Japan.

Stimulate with Kaifu

The Kaifu bath salt contains camomile extract in order to stimulate the body and the mind. It relieves fatigue and revs up the metabolism with its green color and its unique and fascinating scent.

Relax with Shinkai

The Shinkai bath salt contains algae extract that leaves the skin soft and moistened. Its cobalt blue color and its soothing marine perfume enhance its relaxing effect.

Essential oils

The core of aromatherapy is in the plants from which essential oils are produced. The fragrances that result are as varied as they are unique and it will really be your own nose that will guide you towards the very best selection. These essential oils also have many documented benefits making it possible to combine utility and pleasure, creating a bathing environment that is not only fragrant, but also enhances your well being. Effectiveness

Aromatic oils are efficient when used externally, especially in the bath: they soak into the skin within seconds to reach the blood, where they then have an effect on our tissues and organs, or basically on our whole body. The volatility of essential oils also allows a fast inhalation, and the vapours coming off the bath water have an almost instantaneous effect on the body. Certain plant smells have been known to have an effect on people’s moods, so you can imagine the potential implications in the workplace for example! In short, the direct beneficial effects for your skin and body coupled with the natural perfume of essential oils hold the promise of exceptional moments spent in your bathtub.

Neptune baths offer you a sample table of a variety of essential and aromatic oils grouped according to their properties. These are suggestions, not recommendations, as you should choose your essential oils according to your own needs and lifestyle..

Warning

It is important to mix the essential oils with water before they are poured into the bathtub, as their improper use could cause skin irritations and damage to the bath surface. Please read the instructions carefully before use.
