Other recommended pleasures
Here are a few more ideas to help you fully enjoy the time you spend in your Neptune bath:
- Try to pick a time when the house is quiet (if that’s not possible, play a soft music in the background).
- Light a few candles or soften the lighting in the bathroom.
- Adjust the thermostat to 37ºC (98.6ºF) in the bathroom.
- Plan to eat your meal after your bath instead of bathing with a full stomach.
- Limit the duration of your bath to 30 minutes: it is enough time to open the skin’s pores while you can still avoid the ‘prune’ effect!
- After your bath, think about cooling your body down: a cool shower will close the pores of your skin (it’s easier if you start by showering your hands and feet).
- Follow your evening bath by relaxing activities: put on a bathrobe and find a comfortable spot to sip herbal tea, read or listen to music.
- If space and time permit, invite your loved one to share a bath: there’s nothing like it to re-connect after a busy day!
